Will Adderley

My story begins with my illness Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis (PSC) which eventually led to me needing a liver transplant.

The transplant journey was one of the most difficult experiences of my life, but also one of the most life-changing. After my recovery, I discovered transplant football, which gave me a new community, fresh energy, and a way to celebrate the second chance at life I’ve been given.

Being part of the team is about so much more than just playing football—it’s about friendship, support, and showing what transplant recipients can achieve. Even though I’ve only been part of the team for a year, I’m proud to already have a gold medal. I can’t wait to see what we can achieve together in the years ahead.
